I just wanted to give some feedback I heard from a first timer at the fun run autox on Sunday. A guy was parked next to me and got to talking. He said had run an event or two in San Diego but had moved north. He heard that GGC BMW club ran some good events and wanted to try it. Even though he was running a BRZ ( maybe it was a Scion). But he kept saying how he was blown away over everyone being so friendly and willing to help someone they didn't know. He said he definitely will be back with GCC. I did tell the event do sell out fast, he replied that there is a reason for that. The people make the event.

Kudos to all the GGC autox staff and participants. You know how to make fast friends and make friends fast!

BMW Rebuilt Small Case LSD 168MM — Golden Gate Chapter BMW CCA

I bought this and rebuilt it for Autocross use. I used it at one autocross before deciding to focus on another build, So I removed it from the car.

It has new clutch discs and dog ears from Thayer Motorsports. It is in great working condition and would make an awesome addition to any car.

This is just the carrier. So you will need to swap over your ring gear.

Calling all BMW peoples...(Ryan Rich, Grant, et al) help needed! OMW to picking up mom from airport, ignition decided that it didn't want to move to the START (3rd) position anymore - it goes in ACC (1) and ON (2) just fine.

Jumped pins 11 & 14 to activate starter and it worked.

At gas station 15 minutes later, jumping 11 & 14 made the starter turn, but no joy - no fuel delivery.

Then jumped 30 & 87 on fuel pump relay and can hear pump buzzing, then jumped 11 & 14 and it started.

Today, tried the same combo and no joy. (Yes, I removed the all jumpered pins.)

HELP! I've got multiple road trips planned to take mom around and this is being a major buzz kill.

If I splice in the Red (9) and Black (10) in this picture and hook it up to a switch, will this work?? It's adapter c200 under the steering column.

Pebble Beach concours is multiple days event actually. On Friday concours held a press conference where BMW Classic center unveils freshly restored Elvis Presley's BMW 507. Some other cars had been presented as well.

                    Selling my Volks TE37SL Pressed Graphite Size 18x9.5 ET15, 18x 10.5 ET22 with AD08 Tires & TPMS.

                    Price: $3000

These are a very rare offset. No spacers needed on these and they run flush with KWV3’s. These were my track setup and since I have not gone to the track since 12/15, it does not make sense to keep them. My estimate is that they have about 15 track days. No bends or cracks. They do have minor surface wear from tracking and scratches from pebbles rubbing against my 380mm BBK but that can’t be seen while they are on the car. I will take additional photos once they are off the car and in greater detail.

                    Specs

18x9.5" Volks TE37SL Wheel in Pressed Graphite

Rear Left Tire: 295/30/18 AD08 with 7.5/32 Tread DOT is 1613. This tire was replaced in 5/15 as I took a bolt to the previous tire.

Rear Right Tire: 295/30/18 AD08 with 4.5/32 Tread DOT

Set includes 2011 BMW OEM TPMS

Local sale only and prefer to sell it as a set but will separate the wheels/tires.

Hey guys, love your track videos and recently got a new action cam that I thought I would share as in my opinion it blows away the GoPro 5 for one main reason and that is G-Metrix data. You can pair this 4K cam with many other Bluetooth devices including a OBD2 scanner. In my case I paired the cam with by Carly bluetooth device.

Here is a vid of me driving home testing the unit. I sped the video up as driving home from Target isn't usually that exciting :) I just wanted to show that I am tapped into OBD2 and able to overlay an assortment of data with a variety of gauge looks. Well, just thought I would share in case anyone is looking to purchase a new action cam or upgrade to a new one.

1987 BMW 325iS — Golden Gate Chapter BMW CCA

To keep it short and to the point, this is the smoothest, softest, quietest and most reliable E30 I've ever had the pleasure of owning, however, I'm just ready for something new.

                        The story -

I bought the car about 8 months ago from the original owner with both front and rear original CA vanity plates that read "SUN 87" and am selling only because I wanna get into something new. It has been on daily duty for the last 3 months, since my 1er went into a wall at Sonoma, and I have had zero issues with it at all. The car, as I was told, is 100% stock and original from the motor to the exhaust, to the paint, interior and everything in between. The front seats could definitely use some love, especially the drivers as it is beat but the crack free dash, perfect door cards and rear seat pull me back into why I love Cardinal so much. The car is Alpine 1, has the original tool kit, both trunk storage compartments, and the original BBS wheel cap wrench. The factory Centurion alarm is still in perfect working condition, as is central locking, power windows, pop-outs and sunroof. The car has ice cold A/C and the heater is also in great working condition. The auto transmission shifts super smooth and the M20 is still very willing to be pushed. There are no lights out anywhere on the car, inside or out, power mirrors work as well. The VIN number for those interested is WBAAA2300H3112412.

The cons would be pretty standard E30 quirks such as a broken odo which says 213,972. The odo actually went out on the drive home from the PO's house, about 17 miles outside of my house when I noticed it, so it is still pretty close to the actual mileage. Also, the radio is not working, PO said that the battery died and the radio said "CODE" so they just disconnected it. I have not checked to see if this is accurate because the M20 makes me smile with all its happy little noises and grunts.

Asking $4000 or trade for a clean title, manual, '94-'97 Miata. I have a clean CA title and smog cert in my hand. I need this car to go to an enthusiast, so hit me with your questions, comments, concerns, or the like and I'll be more than happy to oblige, thanks

I m all registered for the November HPDE at Thunderhill and I can t wait — Golden Gate Chapter BMW CCA

I'm all registered for the November HPDE at Thunderhill and I can't wait! Two quick questions:

                                  - Does anyone know of a brick and mortar store in the South Bay that sells SA helmets? I keep reading that I should try before I buy. Per previous recommendations, the full-face Pyrotect looks great on paper, but I want to make sure it's a good fit. Additionally, I seem to usually see people with white helmets. Just a style preference, or is there some benefit (e.g. temperature)?

                                  - This is will be my second HPDE (the first being a BMW M School). Is a GoPro a wise idea, or is it just a distraction? If so, where do people recommend mounting one?
