Today I was out with our customer on a test drive with his stage 2 GAD tuned F10 M5

Who would have thought on 2 separate runs in the DRY the traction light was flickering both runs up until & at 180+mph!!!!

Think someone needs an enormous wing!

Videos coming in the next few weeks when it's not gale force winds!

I never say this but that is one seriously seriously savage car not many cars scare me but that is scary as fook!!

my old E63 used to get traction in the dry after 60 or so... but you need some serious balls to do what this kid was doing today!!

If anyone is thinking of insuring or getting a quote with FluxDirect - I strongly suggest you avoid it at all costs.

I've been insured for less than a day, they emailed me demanding I called them or they'd cancel my policy without telling me why.

I rang up to cancel as I'd accepted a better quote with Brentacre and they are charging me £95 for one days insurance (bearing in mind my annual premium is less then £1k!!!). When I questioned it, I got spoken to like I was an idiot & when I said I'd make a formal complaint - I was laughed at!!!

They're good enough to sell you a policy with all the add-ons but there customer service leaves an awful lot to be desired!

Professional Winter protection (now using quartz coating protection)

self cleaning technology! Can be applied onto any car.

We apply this coating with a full professional machine polish using a paint Gage at one panel at a time. This will take out imperfections in the paint and gives it that ultimate shine, i will go ahead to

clay bar your car, then wash your car using a 2 bucket method with grit guards in each bucket.

Your car will be snow foamed using a PH neutral product so it does not harm the body work.

I wash and seal the wheels using a non acid wheel cleaner

and detail the remaining of the car inside & out. Quartz paint work sealant & protection will be applied. This takes at least a days work on each car.

Prices start from £150, for bookings TEL: 07906241996.

This would be a great Summer present for a car enthusiast or someone wanting to protect and prolong the life of there car!

Detailing also adds value to your car.

      BMW E46 M3,

Titanium silver, Black Nappa leather, 19" alloys, SMG

Stunning and extremely well looked after E46 M3 Cars of this type and age with low owners are extremely rare and my treasured possession is something I had no intention of selling but I fancy summit different Silver with the black leather seems to be a sought after combination and bodywork, paint, interior, engine etc are in exceptional condition. Full service history either from BMW main dealer or local BMW specialist. (Falcon engineering). I’m not in any rush to sell but this is a fantastic investment opportunity as the prices of these are rising by the minute. If you’ve owned one of these before you will know how amazing these cars are but there are a lot of multi owner, sketchy history versions out there which are probably cheaper but best avoided. Low owner versions are almost unique now and with prices on the up, you can’t lose!

Now the bad new in the pics u can see light damage as I hit black ice over Xmas and ran out of talent lol I have been qoated £300 at max end February to do the work !

Having owned the car it has become more of a weekend car so has a relatively low usage 120k total, under 7k miles per year. I have really looked after it and I would say it is mechanically flawless. Over the years, I have fixed anything that needs doing and have constantly had any known issues with these cars checked including rear springs, sub-frame etc and recent passenger airbag recall.

Drives like an absolute dream and still makes me smile every time I drive it.

      Equipment and options include:

      Titanium Silver

      Black nappa Leather

      Auto lights

      Auto wipers

      Parking sensors (auto dip mirror)

      Bluetooth telephone prep.

      Electric Memory seats

      Bi-Xenon Headlights

      Rear Side Airbags

Electric heated and folding exterior mirrors

      Climate comfort screen

      Front centre arm rest

      Navigation system with TV

      Hi-Fi Harmon Kardon

      M Double spoke 19” alloys

SMG transmission and paddle gear change

This BMW M5 came from a far today.

this 5.0 v10 naturally aspirated engine is already tuned to an extent, but we can improve on that!!

        stock - 507bhp 520nm

        GAD - 537bhp 550nm

great feedback with noticeable difference in throttle response and mid range punch... and a much much stronger pull!!!

great value deals on software on these at the moment.

It is with genuine regret i am selling my E91 335d,has been the best car i have owned but need to free up some cash as we are thinking of moving and my mrs just doesnt get on with it.I think its in excellent condition in black and has MOT until July. The car comes with light grey leather interior, panoramic roof(that works properly),tinted glass,2x new goodyear f1 runflats on the rear. The car can return 45mpg with a steady foot but even driven hard can still easily acheive 30mpg.I will consider a cheaper part ex,golf gti, focus st etc but must be manual and 5 doors and obviously be cheaper than my car as i need to free up some cash. The car is £9500 with no offers as i genuinly do not want to sell but it has only covered 3500 miles in the last 6 months and i may as well just run a cheaper car.

I will be removing the private plate

I'm wondering if anyone can help. This morning when I got in my e86 Z4 I turned the fan on to the windscreen to de-mist it but barely got any airflow, even with the fan on full, (EVEN when I tried the rapid de-mist button), the fan is roaring away, you can hear the air, but almost none is coming out of the windscreen vents (just one small patch on the driver's side). All of the other fan positions work fine, but not the windscreen one, this appears to have come on suddenly as I'm sure it was all fine yesterday. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I'd love to keep it, but it's just not practical any more and I need to release some cash from the car.

It's a 2005 (cheap tax) with 79k and full BMW history. If anyone is genuinely interested please let me know as it's going up for sale soon and I'll be on the look out for a E61 535d

So I ve lost a little faith in my local BMW dealer today Yes I know that may... — BMW Owners North

So I've lost a little faith in my local BMW dealer today. Yes I know that may come as a no surprise from a stealer but I was always left feeling relatively looked after in the past.

Anyway last year the MOT'd the car. It passed with 2 advisories; play in ball joints on both sides. Naturally they suggested I book it in and get the parts replaced. But as GSF usually has a discount code every Friday I said I'd just wait rather than paying their over inflated prices.

A year down the line it's come round to MOT time again. I still haven't replaced the ball joints yet as I've had no real trouble from them. I know a guy that works at my local Subaru garage (from when I had my STI) and trust him inexplicably.

So I asked if he could MOT the car, guessing it was going to fail as I hadn't sorted the advisories out from last year so they must have got past the point of passing. It would fail, he'd give me a list of parts I needed to buy, I'd go to GSF and get them with a minimum of 40% discount, go back to him for fitment and re-test. Job done.

Sure enough the beemer failed but ONLY because the brake pads were down to 1.5mil. They had had the car on the shaker and wheels off, the lot and couldn't find ANY play in one side and only VERY minor play in the other.

So BMW would have charged me over the odds for parts and then labour on top all for parts I didn't need!

                                        ATTENTION BMW OWNERS NORTH:

We are arranging a meet for the spring, we have a date but we need a venue. Areas include the Lake District, North Yorkshire moors, and the Yorkshire dales. We need somewhere that's a nice drive to get to, has plenty of car park space for everyone (outside of their own customers) and serves food and drinks. Can people who know these areas please suggest places so that we can run a poll? Once we get the venue sorted I will create the event, and you can share it with any local north bmw groups

Out of interest, as we're coming to the end of 2016, what BMW do you drive, what sort of mileage have you covered in it in the last 12 months, and roughly what has it cost you in maintenance?

I have a 730Ld, I've covered around 28,000 miles in it this year, and I think I'm roughly at around £4,300 in maintenance during that period.
