airlift suspension — BMW M Z3 Coupe Enthusiasts

Thinking about parting with my Air ride suspension.

    Airlift performance struts & bags

    Airlift V2 management.

*will possibly trade for coils+ cash*

    nothing is missing, everything works.

If anyone is interested, let me know, the kit is relatively new, installed it last February.

I love my air suspension. it rides super nice, extremely convenient if you live in an area with bad roads, you never scrape on anything and with the airlift performance kit it actually handed like a good set of coilovers. if anyone is interested let me know, in no rush to sell, price I'm thinking is about $2600.

It's time to say goodbye to my BMW Z3M Coupe (S54). 1st registered in 05/2001, it has now 80'000km (49700 miles). Since 2007 has passed yearly official technical inspections without any faults, which can also be used for mileage certification. Crankshaft bearing shells already replaced preventively. Gearbox and differential oil changed. Complete mechanic review last year and has been recently detailed. Pristine condition, never tracked and ready to be added to any private collection. The buyer also gets a customized interior protection cover and all spare consumables I have stored. Send PM if interested. ;)

Looked at a Silver Z3 Coupe yesterday in Tampa with 188k miles on the clock and it had some front end damage in the process of repair. Was asking 5.5k for the car. May be a fun project for someone. Front cowl, lights, bumper, were replaced and the hood had been repaired. I want a clean front end for my ritual sacrifice so I passed. Anyone want details?

Diplopia is good when it comes to M Coupes though.

BTW: If anyone would love a picture like this of his car, it's not hard to make. Just position your camera (or phone) on a tripod or static object (something that doesn't move, e.g. a wooden block, a table, ...) and take two pictures with the car in two different places. Since the background is most likely to be 100% similar, just merge the two photos in something like photoshop. Just paste one picture on top of the other and use the brush tool on a black/white layer you put on it to make both positions visible. :)

            BIG QUESTION ?!? M Coupé V8 ?

what´s your opinion ? ... I´m thinking about this project over years. My dream is, putting a GM LS3 into my M Coupé.

So my M Coupe have a s50 engine original installed, which work pretty good, but the V8 with 6,2 Liter will be a very special and nice thing.

A swap, in the same quality like the rest of my other conversions will be a nice rounding of THAT car.

... and in fact, it got from a front into front-middle engine, 1350kg all over and 440hp with 590nm torque.

... there will be noch "corvette cover" above the engine, just carbon ...

(the swap pic is borrowed from Mark Dean)

Hello guys 2 quick questions — BMW M Z3 Coupe Enthusiasts

              Hello guys, 2 quick questions:

              1) Does anyone in here has a rear brace bar in your car?

              2) Does anyone in here has a 3, 4 or 5 point belts? - without frame?

My problem is, i am really "small" and thin (and cute as well ^^ :D) and another year i would love to buy sport seats (in the best recaro pole positions) and sometimes in many cars, belts are "cutting me" into my neck. That is the reason why i would like to have 3 or 4 point belts. But i do not want frame :/ So i am curious if there is any SAFE solution for this and I was thinking about rear brace bar.

Plus, some "quick" removable rear carpet for reaching the shock absorbers :P i was thinking about cutting a hole into the carpet that i can reach the shock absorbers in second without removing everything in the trunk :P (with rear brace bar it would be necessary to cut it somehow)

So I just want to share my Z3 Coupe story with all of you guys and girls, because today marks 1 year with my Z3 Coupe.

So it my story starts 11 months before actually buying the car. I spotted it on a danish website where it was posted for sale by a dealer.

I just had to see this car in person, so I called the dealer and arranged a meeting. This was also the first time I ever saw a Z3 Coupe in real life.

I completly fell in love with the shape, color and interior, and asked the dealer if he wanted to trade with my E46 320Ci and some money. But he gave me an aweful price for my E46 and the dream of the Z3 was kinda crushed because I thought it would sell fast.

So for a few months I accepted that I wouldn't get the Z3 Coupe, but I was also very happy with my E46.

Later I got the itch again to look at what was for sale, and the Z3 Coupe was still for sale at the same dealership, but the price had dropped a decent amount.

I talked to by good friend Lasse, about selling the E46 so I could be able to buy the Z3 Coupe. Ofcause he supported me!

After having the E46 for sale for a week, Lasse told me that he had been thinking about buying my E46 and was kinda in love with it! So I took him on his word and we made a deal!

He bought the E46 yesterday a year ago, and the day after it was sold I ran out to the dealer and said I wanted to buy the Z3 Coupe!

Sorry for the long post! :)

...and these are the sun visors I made, after seeing Clarkson test driving an Eagle Low Drag GT. My brackets are less elegant than in the Eagle, but they're prettier than they'd be if I built them and then they broke, right? Some people think they're horrible, but that's kind of how it always is with Z3MC's, right?

                    Hi Guys...

                    HELP NEEDED:

I was wondering whether any nice person on here could point me in the right direction - I would like to explore fitting a supercharger to my Zed through a reputable firm in the UK (North) - and that won't rip me off!

ALSO, I really miss the OEM rear fat tyres look but can't find a decent AC Schnitzer alloy wheel style wide enough, are there any other manufacturers apart from BBS that anybody could recommend?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Con rods and pistons forged, Shrick racing cam, csl pulleys etc etc already done...

I have only the 2,8l version with some 3,0l modifications, and I have the problem that my wheels get spinning if it's a bit wet. The rear moves if I get a bit gas in curves or if i give a bit more gas on a straight street. The shock absorber are new, spring are original Schnitzer, and the bearings are new. Only the bearings position 8 on the photo are old. What are your experiences.

My MC finally got it slot at Redish Automotive in Bristol to have its Randy Forbes subframe strengthening kit fitted.

I popped in to have a look 2 days ago and James was still disassembling before the real work starts.

Had only driven the car another 100 miles since first finding 7 spot weld failures and it looked like the floor had dropped another couple of mm. So glad I checked that boot floor when I did.

Hoping to get more photos/video soon to put on here.

What's up guys, promised I would have some m coupe apparel.

Made some shirts and hoodies for the m coupe. Took me about 7 hours for editing but I think it paid off.

                            $40+shipping for hoodies

                            https://viralstyle.com/c/G6aMw

                            $25+shipping for shirts

                            https://viralstyle.com/c/34J6G

Now, there is a 3rd option. FOR THOSE who want a shirt to be color matched to their car I can do that as well. It would $35 + shipping for those shirts because they are printed on a finer material (100% polyester) using a different style of printing. Please comment if you would like this done.

Please message me with any questions.

Alright, guys, I need your help/advice.

You may remember I was trying to sell my car as the last puzzle piece to fund my business (blacksmith). Started optimistically high (which received much flack) and have been working down. $29K OBO to $25 firm. The car is probably 8-10 condition overall and no modifications. 55,412 miles. And, unless I'm missing something, no tearout in the rear. Photos of every area possible so nothing is hidden.

I have someone interested but they're offering $23K. All nonsense aside (or, is it nonsense?), is this a more realistic price? I may have been a little greedy at first but I'm also trying to cover my ass. Giving away one dream to finance another.

Whaddya say? Is this more "real world" price? Should I entertain this offer?

Not being rude if I don't respond quickly. Need to tend to the kids right now.

Seeing if there is any interest in a set of HRE 445r 3 piece wheels. They are 18x8.5 fronts and 18x10 rears. The offset for the front is et38 and I am not exactly sure about the rears but the rears started as et38 also but I removed the 1.5" lip and replaced it with a 3" lip to make the 10" wide rears. (note that I am using a 15mm spacer in the rear to make the fitment flush) Wheels have curb rash on 3 of the 4 wheels and can use a polish or refinish. Asking $1600 for the wheels obo.

Tires are included for free. Two front tires are Falken with 70% tread left, rears are two mismatch tires (one falken and one cheapo brand) with also a lot of tread. Tires can be removed if buyer chooses not to have the tires shipped with the wheels to save money.

Starting some winter projects ... considering a change from these fantastic custom BBS RS... built for perfect m coupe fitment. 18x9 front and 18x11.5 rear.

Any interest? Don't have to sell, but it would make funding some other projects easier.

Have flat center caps and hex caps. Tires are OK but will need to be replaced in the near future so keep that in mind.

In Philadelphia and would consider delivering or meeting part way if reasonable.

EDIT: Got some interest so far, posting details here.

9.0 et 28 with a 5mm spacer in the front

                                    11.5 et 21 with a 12mm spacer rear

74.1 hub bore, using hubcentric spacers.

Refinished last winter, I'd call it 9.0/10 for condition, small nicks in the polished finish when you inspect it very close but super clean overall.

Fitment is good - no rubbing in the front (slightly trimmed fender liner) and I did a very slight fender roll in the rear.

Price - $3,750, OBO. Includes both sets of center caps, tires work for now, but anticipate you will need to replace them.

You will be hard pressed to find anything so perfectly built for the M Coupe!!!

Feel free to message me with any additional questions.

All right peoples...I recently inherited this Z3 from my mom who passed away. It's a 97 with about 100k on it. As far as I know it's been fully maintained by a dealership. I drove it last summer when I was home (car was in Maine, I live in Texas and contract in Baghdad), it runs great.

The car has a lot of sentimental value to me and I want to keep it, even though I look like a gorilla behind the wheel driving it.

My question for y'all is what kind of mods are out there that I can do. I've seen that there's a chance a supercharger can be added. An exhaust is probably going to be done also.

What info can I get for some options to up the game on this?

Also, it's had a new top put on as the brown on stated leaking and the new one does also. How hard are they to replace myself?

                                      TIA!
